Miuro is a home-use robot which focused its application to "music", and you can enjoy on a daily basis. It adopts two-wheel travel because of its cost-performance in terms of movement. Wheels are put at the center of design. miuro realizes smooth travel by taking the attitude control with rotary encoders, gyros, and acceleration sensor. Also, miuro enables to dance to the music it plays, with real-time analysis. It is also possible to deliver the message and music to family members or pets by operating a mobile phone while you are away from home. miuro proposes a new way to enjoy music, that is, to enjoy the music anywhere at any time you like. 12th RSJ Technical Innovations Award in 2007.
