日本設計工学会は、ホームページ（http://www.jsde.or.jp/icdes2020/）
にありますとおり、2020年11月3日(火)～5日(木)に北九州国際会議場（福岡県北九州
市）で、国際会議ICDES 2020（The 5th International Conference on Design
Engineering and Science）を開催いたします（協賛：日本機械学会、精密工学会、
日本デザイン学会、日本ロボット学会）。
「設計」、“design”に関するテーマを広く受け付けており、論文投稿締切が2020年
1月20日まで延長されましたので、皆様の論文のご投稿をお待ちしております。
ICDES 2020の原稿フォーマットは、日本設計工学会の電子ジャーナル（J-STAGE、
https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/browse/jjsde/）に近いものとなっており、ICDES
2020にご投稿いただいた論文をベースに、その後、電子ジャーナルへの英文投稿につ
なげる、ということもやりやすくなりました。

Call for Papers: ICDES 2020 by JSDE Submission Deadline Extended (Jan. 20,
2020)
Dear potential participants,
JSDE (Japan Society for Design Engineering) will have ICDES 2020 (The 5th
International Conference on Design Engineering and Science) in Kitakyushu,
Japan in November 3 - 5, 2020 as described in the conference web site (http://www.jsde.or.jp/icdes2020/), supported by JSME
(The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers), JSPE (The Japan Society for
Precision Engineering), JSSD (Japan Society for the Science of Design) and
RSJ (The Robotics Society of Japan).
Now the submission deadline is extended to January 20, 2020, and we would
like to invite you to submit your papers on various topics related to design
engineering and science.
The manuscript format of ICDES 2020 is similar to that of the JSDE
electronic journal (J-STAGE, https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/browse/jjsde/),
and it became easier to submit a journal paper to the electronic journal
afterwards by improving the ICDES 2020 conference paper.
