関西学院大学理工学部の中後と申します．
国際会議CLAWAR2021の実行委員長を仰せつかっております。
本年8月30日～9月2日にて、脚式ロボットおよび不整地走破ロボットに
関する国際会議（CLAWAR2021）を、関西学院大学上ヶ原キャンパスおよび
宝塚ホテルにて開催いたします。
国際会議CLAWARは、欧州発祥の国際会議で、日本開催は2010年名工大に
続いて11年ぶり2回目の開催となります。
近年会議名以外のトピック、人間支援ロボット、サービスロボット、
ヒューマンインターフェイス、など、幅広く投稿を受け付けており、
優秀な論文はIndustrial Robot誌などに投稿がオファーされます。
コロナ渦で国際会議参加がままならない現状ではありますが、本会議は
できる限り対面（リアル）での実施を指向いたします。
また、日本開催ですので、国外からはリモート参加となった場合でも、
国内在住の方にはリアルな発表の機会を作りやすく、初めて国際会議に
挑戦する学生さんにとっても良い機会になろうかと思います。

Dear colleague,
We are pleased to inform you that CLAWAR 2021 will be held in Takarazuka, Japan during 30 August - 01 September 2021.
The conference will feature technical and social programs. The technical program will comprise plenary, regular, and special/invited sessions. All articles submitted for inclusion in the conference will be peer reviewed before acceptance. It is envisaged that all accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings, to be published by Springer in the AISC Springer Series and indexed in SCOPUS, subject to registration of at least one author for presenting their paper. CLAWAR 2021 will also feature Robot Exhibition.
Scope
The CLAWAR conference series provides a multidisciplinary forum for discussing original contributions in the general area of mobile robotics, covering climbing, walking, flying robots with assistance and service provided to humans and machines.

20 Jan 2021: Proposals for workshops & special sessions
01 April 2021: Submission of full/draft papers
15 May 2021: Notification of paper acceptance
15 June 2021: Submission of final (accepted) papers
15 June 2021: Early bird (reduce fee) registration
15 June 2021: Author registration
15 July 2021: Preliminary program
30 Aug-01 Sept 2021: Conference
We would like to invite you to submit your contributions according to the above key dates.
Submission of Papers
The technical program of the conference will feature Regular Papers, Special Session Papers, and Poster presentations. Authors are invited to submit their full draft papers in PDF format from the paper submission page of the conference web-site by the indicated deadline for consideration for inclusion in the relevant category (special/regular paper).
All papers will be peer reviewed before acceptance, and all accepted papers (subject to registration of at least one author) will be published in the conference proceedings. Final accepted papers will be limited to 12 pages in length in the prescribed style and format given in the paper submission web page.
Workshop and Special Session Proposals
Proposals should be submitted to the Conference Secretariat and should be limited to one A4 page in length and must include title, aims/objectives, brief outline/scope, name and affiliation of the organizer(s).
Exhibition
Organisations and research groups can promote their robots and robotic research work by exhibiting these at the conference. Those wishing to participate in the exhibition programme of the conference are invited to seek relevant information via the conference web-site and further to contact the conference secretariat to discuss the terms of exhibition
