国際会議2022 IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots (Humanoids 2022)は沖縄宜野湾で開催されます．Humanoid roboticsに関連する全分野からの論文投稿をお待ちしております．合わせてworkshop, tutorialも募集しております．
The 2022 IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots (Humanoids 2022) will take place in Ginowan, Okinawa, Japan. The conference solicits original paper contributions and workshop/tutorial proposals in all related areas with humanoid robotics.
Hard experiences including large-scale disasters, social unrest and the pandemic have forced us to think about humanity. Humanity is compassion for others, which leads to activities to make the world comfortable for others, and as a result, ourselves. We wish that humanoid robots will be artifacts that not only resemble humans but also embody humanity. Open questions for such humanoid robots include what functionalities and capabilities are needed to achieve such goals and what should be the design criteria for their bodies, their information processes, and their behavior. The conference will provide a place for discussions about technologies that enable humanoid robots to go out in our world and have a positive impact, supported by gradually increasing social acceptance.
The conference invites paper contributions and workshop/tutorial proposals, which are expected to be related with but not limited to:
Materials, devices, and mechanisms for humanoids
Hardware design criteria for anthropomorphism
Kinematics and dynamics computation theory
Whole-body control for locomotion and manipulation
Sensing, perception, and cognition of body and world
Theory and techniques for adaptation and learning
Informatics and architecture for behavior synthesis
Teleoperation and telepresence using humanoids
Measuring, modeling and simulating humans
Human science through humanoid robots
Interfaces between humanoid robots and humans
Cyborgs, prostheses, and assistive devices for humans
Application case studies of humanoid robots in society
Accepted papers will be presented either at a single track oral session or during poster sessions. All the accepted papers will appear in the proceedings of the conference and on IEEE Xplore without distinction.
