-趣旨
Autonomous car driving, construction robots, drones, rescue robots, and other machines that mainly operate outdoors are collectively referred to as field robotics. Field robotics has seen rapid growth in recent years and is widely expected to bring highly transformative societal changes. While robustness is key in all aspects in outdoor environments, AI has rapidly evolved to enable robust recognition, which conventionally used to be difficult to realize, enhancing the feasibility of field robotics.
In this context, this Special Issue on “Field Robotics with Vision Systems” cordially invites as many papers and theses as possible on field robotics having vision systems.
